DIRECTIONS from: 

a1, Airport   

a2, Santa Apolónia Metro & National Train station  

a3, Oriente Metro & National Train station to CHOCA House:

( 1st METRO: 6.30am  //  LAST METRO: 1am )

A1: From AIRPORT METRO ( 20 mins.)
1, U r on the beginning of the red line: take the metro and change at ALAMEDA on the green line ( 9 stops)
2, Take the green line direction Telheiras to Alvalade ( 3 stops).

A2: From SANTA APOLONIA METRO ( + TRAIN STATION) ( 20 mins.)
1, U r on the beginning of the blue line: take the metro and change at BAIXA CHIADO on the green line ( 3 stops)
2, Take the green line direction Telheiras to Alvalade ( 9 stops).

A3: From ORIENTE METRO ( + TRAIN & COACH STATION) ( 40 mins.)
1, Oriente couch & train station also has a metro.
Take red line metro - direction Saldanha, 6 stops to Alameda
2, Change to the green line - direction Telheiras to Alvalade ( 3 stops).


B: WALK FROM ALVALADE METRO STATION ( 7 mins.)
1, Take metro exit 'Avenida Igreja'. U will see statue of St Anthony. Head north toward the church ~u can't actually see it so just ask people for the church ( if u can see Mcdonalds on the opposite (right) side then u'r ok!)
It's 3rd street left ( if lost ask people for the Minipreço supermarket ( pronounced 'Supermerkado Minipreso' !)

2, The house is opposite Minipreço supermarket on the other side

Travel ticket suggestion: get a zapping card from the machine at the metro station = 50cts + minimum top-up = 3€. Each bus / metro ride = 1.80€ ( including changing metro lines ) 

TAXI: from airport = about 10€ // from Sta Apolonia or Oriente = about 15€ ( baggage and nite a bit extra: 99% taxi drivers r very nice, sweet and honest but just in case u get the 1% who's shitty show address + ask price  before u get in )

METRO  (1st METRO: 6h30am  //  LAST METRO: 1h)

744 BUS   ( 1st BUS: 6h15  //  LAST BUS: 21h15 )

Bus stop = outside the airport. Catch the 744 bus. Ask for Alvalade Fire Station ( Bombeiros Alvalade ) / Lido Supermarket - maybe write on a piece of paper ' Bombeiros Alvalade / Supermercado Lidl. '  If u look on google maps it's a 10 minute walk from Lidl.
